Nestled on the water’s edge in Wentworth Point, Sekisui House’s masterplan community ‘Sanctuary’ presents a dynamic lifestyle that intertwines people, culture, and the natural environment.
Building on the great success of Stage 2 of Sanctuary comprising Laguna, Glade & Revive, the project has advanced gracefully into its third stage, ‘Willow’. Overlooking the Parramatta River and bordering the masterplan’s neighbourhood green, Stage 3 is beautifully located within national parkland, offering breathtaking river and city views. Willow, sequestered in this serene site, features a holistic design that includes a private lagoon pool and meticulously curated podium gardens, providing an exclusive oasis for Stage 3 residents.
Willow comprises 323 premium waterside apartments centred around lush open spaces, achieving perfect harmony with nature. These residences are elegantly designed to facilitate an inside-out connection between landscape and architecture, embracing the tranquil, curious flow of the Parramatta River and the highest international living standards. This development seamlessly integrates the surrounding natural landscape with modern architecture, offering a unique and harmonious living experience.
Having worked with Sekisui House from the inception of Sanctuary’s Place Vision, our Toasties were excited to embark on Stage 3’s campaign; as a staged addition in a large-scale masterplan, it was imperative that the Sanctuary property branding and strategic vision remained as the common thread that ties all elements together.
Harmony, vibrancy, a sense of calm, and livability are fundamental attributes defining a sanctuary and are wonderfully evident across the Stage 3 development. The Willow residences bring newfound energy and life to the Sanctuary precinct. Aligned and connected with the overall branding and message of Sanctuary’s masterplan, these buildings have an infectious spirit. Stage 3, nestled in a lush parkland setting, acts as a natural refuge with its unobstructed views and unrivalled access to nature.
As an element within the Sanctuary masterplan brand, Willow is identifiable by the unique kaleidoscopic logotype. In creating this gracefully fragmented circular imagery, TOAST was inspired by the fundamental principles within Japanese design, such as simplicity, understated beauty, and tranquillity. It’s an intricate but elegant wreath, a symbol that ties all elements of Sanctuary together.
Set back from the water and surrounded by wild parklands, Willow leverages the verdant energy of parkside life.
For Stage 3 in Sanctuary's development, TOAST created the tagline ‘Immerse Yourself in Nature,’ showcasing Willow as the incomparable green heart of Sanctuary and harnessing Sekisui House’s principle of ‘Satoyama,’ to create harmony between humans and nature.
Across Willow, nature acts as a bridge between the apartments and the wider landscape, creating an unrivalled living experience where nature and urban living seamlessly integrate. The harmony and communication between our inside and outside worlds are fundamental elements within Sanctuary’s brand footprint, making this masterplan evermore unique. Willow’s logo was thus inspired by its 47+ hectares of verdant surrounding parklands. Bejewelled by vibrant greens to suggest a life surrounded by the lush, expansive landscape to explore, Willow’s logotype and stage identity lives in proud connection to the land.
Stage 3, as the absolute green heart of Sanctuary, delivers a beautifully unique experience for residents and the wider community. Spaces that are in harmony with nature and abundant in vibrant interactions epitomise comfortable living and offer a fulfilled life experience.
