Elevating the award winning strategic brand platform that TOAST completed for the Inovi team in 2023, our teams collaborated once again to embark on defining a tailored CSR framework that emulates the future-focused vision of the Inovi brand and the team behind it.
Inovi is a prominent player in the commercial construction sector and introducing a CSR program to their business is leading them on a transformative journey towards sustainability and social responsibility. Strategised by TOAST through extensive workshopping sessions, their program "Innovation for Impact" is rooted in the pillars of 'In,' 'Ov,' and 'I,' and represents Inovi's commitment to integrating sustainability practices, prioritising employee wellbeing, and making a positive impact on communities and cities.
Introducing a CSR program to their business provides a framework for both their short and long term goals on both an internal and external level. The company recognised that merely transitioning to environmentally friendly procedures and materials wasn't enough; thus a comprehensive CSR strategy was what was needed to drive meaningful change across its business lines. Incorporating it into an already bustling business, TOAST faced the challenge of aligning Inovi’s operations with sustainable practices while ensuring the wellbeing of its employees and positively impacting the communities it serves, all under the one program.
Drawing on the similar rationale behind their brand name, the Inovi CSR program was titled "Innovation for Impact" and has three key verticals: 'In,' (Innovation at the Core) 'Ov,' (Overall Wellbeing of Our People) and 'I,' (Impact on Cities and Community). These respectively represent Inovi's commitment to integrating sustainability practices, prioritising employee wellbeing and making a positive impact on communities and cities. Ensuring we created a lasting, robust platform that gave the Inovi team vision and guidance in their CSR / ESG endeavours, each pillar is associated with 3 key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, providing the Inovi team with a clear and actionable path.
The double circle symbol of the Innovation for Impact program represents the Inovi brand through a trademarked icon. Carried through for the CSR program ‘Innovation for Impact’, this design injects Inovi’s absolute dedication to creating a lasting, positive impact within their team and wider community as a key undercurrent of their brand identity. The primary CSR logo for Inovi employs a greyscale palette (warm & dark grey), culminating in a clean and distinct brand identity that effectively embodies the focus and commitment within the brand. When developed into the 3 pillars, brighter more recognisable tones are introduced. The colour palette for CSR remains consistent with the master brand, yet with modifications in colour hierarchy. Greys take on a more pronounced role, accompanied by the addition of the three colours specific to each category. This strategic approach enhances brand recognition and positions CSR as a distinct division of the business.
Through the tailored CSR program, "Innovation for Impact," Inovi has successfully addressed the challenge of integrating sustainability, prioritising employee wellbeing, and making a positive impact on communities, but not as a one-off claim, as a framework with vision, longevity and lasting relevance.
