About the Job:

TOAST is seeking a creative-minded, passionate and dynamic Senior Designer / Creative
Project Manager to join our team!

Working with the TOASTies in our Sydney HQ, you will bring to life masterful designs,
making the brands that make the future. This role offers the successful candidate a
chance to become an integral component of an agile, global, award-winning strategic
brand agency.

As a Senior Designer at TOAST, you will shape the creative vision for our clients,
crafting visually stunning brand designs that span print, digital, and interactive platforms.

Every project is an opportunity to bring unique client stories to life through innovative,
high-impact visuals.

From Creative Project Management, you’ll contribute to the effective utilisation of
internal resources, maintaining a smooth workflow and achieving project efficiency
goals. Beyond coordination, you’ll foster a positive and dynamic environment, supporting
the Creative Director, Nick Sammut, in creative resource allocation and Streamtime
reporting, working alongside our accounts team to ensure every project runs like
clockwork.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design Leadership: Lead with your concepts across brand solutions that entice digital, print, and web, ensuring consistent visuals that align with client goals and strategy

Client Relations: Build strong relationships and present work confidently with clear rationale in partnership with the strategists and creative director

Creative Support: Foster innovation, allocate resources effectively, and encourage team collaboration.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Oversight: Manage external suppliers and ensure work meets creative standards and ethical guidelines

Team Coordination Assistance: Help optimise workflows, briefs allocation, and support the timely delivery while upholding agency standards

Market Awareness: Evaluate work against competitors and support business growth

REQUIREMENTS:

Design Expertise: Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) with knowledge of Figma, Miro, and responsive design across web, print, and environmental branding


Brand Strategy: Skilled in turning concepts into purposeful, unique brands


Creative Fundamentals: Expertise in corporate branding, layout, colour theory, and typography for print and digital


Technical Skills: Knowledge of WordPress, web technologies, and site functionality


Project Management: Experienced in handling deliverables, timelines and suppliers while managing multiple tasks under pressure


Collaboration & Independence: Effective in teams and confident managing strategic issues independently


Organisation & Communication: Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills for tight deadlines in fast-paced environments.
