Here’s how we did it:

1/ Unique “Brand Picture” as the foundation of a cohesive group identity

Before designing any digital experience, we began with an in-depth strategic research phase to establish the Brand Picture of the group. This involved:

• Competitor Benchmark Analysis: Analyse industry leaders to identify digital experience gaps and potential areas of innovation

• Stakeholder Interviews: Engage leadership and key team members to understand the group’s overarching vision, values, and differentiation

• Collaborative Workshop: Share key findings and ensure key stakeholders’ alignment to define the consolidated Brand Footprint: the Brand Picture

• Design of a Unique Brand Identity supported by UVP, brand language and business proof points

• User Analytics & Behaviour Mapping: Examine existing website interactions to pinpoint pain points and opportunities for optimisation

By consolidating these insights through Miro board mapping, we formed the core foundations of the brand’s online experience. This provided a guiding framework for unifying the group while allowing each vertical to retain its unique identity and strategic focus.

2/ Strategic UX/UI: Data-Driven, User-Centric, and Mobile-First

With the brand’s foundation in place, we turned our attention to the User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) across the entire digital ecosystem. Our approach included:

• Interviewing each Business Line Management to Build a Narrative: To ensure authenticity and strategic alignment, we interviewed the management teams of each vertical, shaping a narrative that reinforced the group’s overall mission while catering to the nuances of each brand

• Tailoring each Vertical’s Digital Experience: Each business unit had distinct goals, audiences, and conversion pathways. To ensure optimal performance, we:

1. Developed a bespoke content strategy aligned with each vertical’s customer journey

2. Designed decision-making flows to streamline the user journey and boost conversions

3. Created actionable CTAs specific to each vertical’s objectives (e.g., lead generation, direct sales, education, or community engagement)

3/ User Experience supported by best practices Digital Design

Leveraging insights from our research and interviews, we crafted aesthetic, intuitive, and conversion-optimised designs. Our approach followed these key principles:

• Mobile-First design: Ensuring seamless performance and accessibility across all devices

• Visual consistency: Implementing group-wide branding elements while adapting styles to reflect each vertical’s distinct personality

• User-centred functionality: Creating intuitive site architecture, easy navigation, and frictionless interactions through the cloud-based design and prototyping tool Figma

• Speed & performance optimisation: Implementing best-in-class site speed, ensuring fast-loading pages that enhance user experience and SEO rankings
