Nick Sammut

Founder+Managing Director

Driving and guiding the creative vision for Toast Creative comes naturally to founder and Managing Director, Nicholas Sammut. With a sixth sense for seamlessly marrying strategy with creativity, Nick brings engaging ideas to the table and through the art of collaboration, massages them into innovative campaigns. He has exemplary skills in building and navigating the right team to deliver strategically and lead creative projects that create impact to both online and offline.

Nick expanded his skill set at Sydney based agency Creative Zoo. It was here that his entrepreneurial curiosity was stirred. Armed with the drive and passion to set up on his own and following 12 months of intense industry freelance experience, Nick opened the doors to Toast Creative in 2007.

At Toast Nick is responsible for managing the execution of major brand programmes across the commercial and retail property development sector, finance, professional services and hospitality, and offers expert knowledge in the provision of digital and property branding. Nick holds a Bachelor of Design from Swinburne University of Technology.

Emile Rastoll

Partner+General Manager

Emile has over 20 year’s international (Europe and APAC) business experience within both the B2B and B2C sectors. His strong background in brand engagement, business transformation as well as digital and social media strategy has led to him becoming an expert General Manager. This success is an attribute of his vision and passion for marketing, communications and consumer engagement.

As General Manager, he’s been responsible for establishing one of the leading digital agencies for Australian SMEs looking to improve their digital engagement. His strategic vision and passion for business transformation has evolved Toast into a full-service creative agency. He has lead by example and instilled the same passion in his teams, by overseeing creative and strategic resources.

Emile holds a Masters in finance and economy, along with a Post Graduate Diploma in marketing / advertising.

Dan Clark

Creative Director

Dan is an accomplished Creative Director with 18 years’ industry experience developing exciting, original ideas. Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, can-do attitude and ability to juggle multiple jobs with tight deadlines.

A natural leader, Dan is experienced at working on large scale projects with a multi-disciplinary team from concept to digital/print delivery for many different clients – from global brands to small businesses start-ups. He guides our team of designers with ideas, help and advice on concepts, layout and technical issues to produce ambitious integrated campaigns.

With hands-on skills covering branding, digital, advertising, typography and most things in between, Dan and his team create adventurous, beautifully crafted work that exceeds expectations.

Scott Bouquet

Marketing Account Director

Scott is a business, marketing, and social media professional with 15 years’ experience building valued brands across a variety of industries with a B2B & B2C focus, locally and internationally.

A passion for start-ups and brand building. He thrives in a competitive environment where best business practice can be applied. His objectives are to drive value through integrated marketing solutions, strengthening core brand values whilst ultimately driving business growth. Scott believes strong, robust brands begin with structured foundations where the businesses core values and brand’s DNA resonates through its culture and people.

Scott is a hands on business leader with a “roll up the sleeves” attitude in order to deliver successful business outcomes. Successful start ups rely on forward thinking, creative insight and the ability to adapt and embrace change.

Malcolm Gray

Business Director

Malcolm is an accomplished business director and senior art director with over 15 years industry experience.

He is an energetic multidisciplinary thinker, with proven ability in branding, digital, ATL, activation, DM, promotions, retail and shopper marketing.

His category experience spreads across retail, FMCG, property, automotive, finance, lifestyle, office supplies, technology, health, education and more.

Malcolm works closely with every member of the agency team from top down. He helps staff align their personal goals with business goals to ensure a positive and profitable environment.

Sam Elliott

Digital Producer

Sam is a highly experienced producer, with a diverse background in marketing and publishing, and a proven record in delivering integrated campaigns across digital, online, print, outdoor, video, and social.

Sam provides specialist project management. He drives the digital process, from initial brief through to delivery and execution. He works directly with Toast’s diverse range of clients, stakeholders, and our creative studio, managing campaigns that deliver real results for clients, strategically and creatively.
